These Terms of Use (“Terms”), together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and such other policies as may be uploaded from time to time, govern your access to and use of the website/platform operated under the name “CarryScore” (“Platform”). The Platform is owned and operated by Mr. Pratyush Giri (“Owner”, “we”, “us” or “our”). References in these Terms to “CarryScore” are references to the Owner operating the Platform under that name, and not to a separate legal entity.
By accessing, browsing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue accessing or using the Platform.
CarryScore is a product discovery, information and comparison platform that enables users to discover, compare and evaluate travel accessories such as luggage, bags and related products based on publicly available product information and predefined evaluation parameters.
The Platform provides product information, ratings, scores, comparisons, reviews, recommendations, articles, guides and other informational content to assist users in making independent purchase decisions.
The Platform does not manufacture, sell, resell, distribute, supply, deliver or otherwise deal in any products displayed on the Platform. Any purchase of products is undertaken directly by users through third-party websites, brands, sellers or e-commerce platforms.
The Platform is intended to operate as an informational, comparison and referral platform only. The Platform does not act as a seller, marketplace operator, agent or representative of any brand, manufacturer, seller or third-party e-commerce platform. For the avoidance of doubt, the Platform does not constitute an “e-commerce entity” or facilitate “electronic commerce” within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as no offer, acceptance, order placement, payment or other element of a sale transaction is concluded on the Platform.
CarryScore does not:
(a) list products on behalf of sellers;
(b) process payments for purchase of products; or
(c) control pricing, availability, delivery, returns, refunds or warranties relating to products.
All transactions entered into by users with third-party websites or sellers shall be solely between the user and such third party.
The product information displayed on the Platform, including product specifications, features, prices, images, descriptions and other details, are obtained from brand websites, manufacturer sources, third-party platforms and other publicly available sources.
While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate information, CarryScore does not independently verify, certify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or availability of such information.
Users should verify all product information directly with the relevant brand, seller or third-party platform before making any purchase decision.
Ratings and scores published on the Platform are generated based on CarryScore's predefined evaluation methodology, including weightages assigned to various evaluation parameters. CarryScore applies its evaluation methodology and weightages consistently across all brands and products compared on the Platform.
Such ratings and scores constitute a post facto analysis based on information obtained from publicly available sources and are intended solely for informational and comparative purposes.
Ratings, scores, rankings or comparisons should not be construed as a recommendation, endorsement, certification, assurance or guarantee of any product.
CarryScore makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the quality, durability, performance, suitability, safety, fitness, merchantability or reliability of any product displayed on the Platform.
CarryScore shall not be responsible or liable for any reliance placed by users on any ratings, scores, rankings, comparisons or analysis available on the Platform.
Certain ratings, reviews, feedback or other information displayed on the Platform may be sourced from third-party platforms.
Where such information is displayed, CarryScore will endeavour to identify the source of such ratings or reviews.
Users acknowledge that third-party ratings or reviews are not generated, verified or controlled by CarryScore and CarryScore shall not be responsible for their accuracy or reliability. CarryScore does not permit, solicit or knowingly display fake, incentivized or manipulated ratings or reviews, and reserves the right to remove any rating or review reasonably suspected of being fraudulent or inauthentic.
The Platform may contain links redirecting users to third-party websites, including brand websites or e-commerce platforms.
Such third-party websites are independently operated and governed by their own terms, policies and conditions.
CarryScore does not control and shall not be responsible for:
(a) products sold through third-party websites;
(b) pricing or availability;
(c) payment processing;
(d) delivery or logistics;
(e) returns, refunds or after-sales support.
CarryScore may receive referral fees, affiliate commissions or other consideration from certain third parties when users access or purchase products through links available on the Platform. Such commercial arrangements shall not, under any circumstances, influence, alter or otherwise affect the ratings, scores, rankings or comparisons generated under Clause 3, which are determined solely by reference to CarryScore’s evaluation methodology.
All rights, title and interest in and to the Platform, including its design, content, scoring methodology, software, databases, text, graphics and all associated intellectual property rights, are owned by or licensed to Mr. Pratyush Giri and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Product images, brand names, trademarks and logos displayed on the Platform belong to their respective owners and are displayed solely for identification, informational and comparison purposes.
CarryScore does not claim ownership over any third-party trademarks, logos, images or brand materials.
Any brand owner, manufacturer or rights holder who objects to the use of its trademark, logo, product images or other proprietary material on the Platform may submit a written request to the Grievance Officer at the contact details in Clause 16. CarryScore will act on any such request within a reasonable period, and in any event consistent with the timelines provided under the relevant applicable laws, and may remove or modify the relevant material pending resolution of the request.
Users agree not to:
(a) misuse the Platform;
(b) interfere with the security or functionality of the Platform;
(c) extract, scrape or copy Platform data without prior written permission;
(d) upload unlawful, misleading or harmful content;
(e) infringe the intellectual property rights of any person;
(f) use the Platform for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose;
(g) host, upload, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another’s privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, or otherwise unlawful;
(h) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent an affiliation with any person or entity;
(i) engage in the posting of fake, incentivized or manipulated ratings or reviews; or
(j) use any automated means, including bots or scrapers, to access, extract or interfere with the Platform, except as expressly permitted under these Terms.
CarryScore processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
By using the Platform and voluntarily providing personal data, users consent to the collection and processing of such personal data for lawful purposes, including:
(a) providing Platform services;
(b) improving user experience;
(c) responding to queries;
(d) analytics and Platform improvement; and
(e) communications consented to by users; and
(f) providing personalised recommendations, rankings or content, including through automated or AI-based tools, where such features are made available on the Platform.
CarryScore shall process personal data only for specified lawful purposes and shall implement reasonable security safeguards to protect such data. CarryScore shall retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out above, or as required under applicable law, and shall thereafter take reasonable steps to erase or anonymize such data. The Platform is not directed at, and CarryScore does not knowingly collect personal data from, individuals below the age of 18 without verifiable parental or guardian consent, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Subject to applicable law, users may have the right to:
(a) access information regarding the processing of their personal data;
(b) seek correction or updating of their personal data;
(c) request erasure of their personal data;
(d) withdraw consent; and
(e) submit grievances regarding the processing of their personal data.

The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics and improvement of services. Users may manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings.
CarryScore does not guarantee that the Platform will always remain available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
CarryScore reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature or functionality of the Platform at any time.
CarryScore shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or other damages, losses, claims, costs or expenses arising out of or in connection with:
(a) use of or inability to use the Platform;
(b) reliance placed on any product information, specifications, descriptions, ratings, rankings, scores, reviews, comparisons, recommendations, analysis or other content available on the Platform;
(c) any inaccuracies, errors, omissions or outdated information obtained from brand websites, third-party platforms or other publicly available sources;
(d) any products purchased or transactions undertaken through third-party websites, sellers, brands or e-commerce platforms;
(e) the quality, performance, durability, suitability, fitness, safety, authenticity, availability, pricing, delivery, return, refund, warranty or after-sales support relating to any products;
(f) any acts, omissions, representations, warranties, services or conduct of third-party websites, sellers, manufacturers, brands or service providers;
(g) any changes, modifications, suspension, interruption, downtime, technical errors or discontinuation of the Platform or any features thereof;
(h) unauthorized access to, use of, alteration of or loss of user information, except to the extent attributable to CarryScore under applicable law;
(i) any user's independent purchase decisions made based on information, ratings, scores or content displayed on the Platform; or
(j) any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of CarryScore.
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from:
(a) misuse of the Platform;
(b) breach of these Terms;
(c) violation of applicable laws; or
(d) infringement of any third-party rights.
CarryScore may, at its absolute and sole discretion modify these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be made available on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following publication of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of such revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, the courts at Bengaluru, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms. This jurisdiction clause applies to disputes with brand partners, advertisers and other commercial counterparties.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 (including any amendments thereto). Where the Platform is accessed or used by a person below the age of 18, such use must be under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on that person’s behalf, and any provision of personal data by such a person shall be subject to verifiable parental or guardian consent in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (including any amendments thereto).
These Terms apply from the time you first access or use the Platform and continue for as long as you continue to do so. CarryScore may, at its discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict or terminate a user’s access to all or part of the Platform where CarryScore reasonably believes these Terms have been breached, or where such action is necessary to protect the security, integrity or proper functioning of the Platform.
A user may stop using the Platform, and, where a registered account has been created, may request closure of that account, at any time. Clauses 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 15 shall survive termination of a user’s access to the Platform.
Where the Platform makes available product recommendations, rankings or suggestions generated using artificial intelligence, machine learning or other automated tools, such outputs are generated on the basis of available product data and, where applicable, user inputs or preferences. Automated recommendations may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies and do not constitute personalized advice or a guarantee of suitability for any particular user.
Users should independently verify any product before purchase. CarryScore shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on automated or AI-generated recommendations.
Where the Platform permits users to submit ratings, reviews, comments or other content (“User Content”), the user: (a) grants CarryScore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt and distribute such User Content on and in connection with the Platform; (b) represents that the User Content reflects their own genuine views or experience and does not infringe the rights of any third party; and (c) acknowledges that CarryScore may moderate, edit, decline to publish or remove any User Content, including where it violates Clause 7 or is reasonably suspected of being fraudulent, incentivized or inauthentic.
Users retain ownership of their User Content, subject to the license granted above.
The Platform may display sponsored listings, promoted placements or third-party advertisements. Any such content shall be clearly labelled as sponsored, promoted or an advertisement, as applicable, and shall be presented separately from organic, methodology-based rankings and content.
Advertisements are the responsibility of the relevant advertiser, and their display on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or representation by CarryScore regarding the advertised product or brand.
(a) Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Platform’s Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and such other policies as may be uploaded by CarryScore from time to time, constitute the entire agreement between the user and CarryScore regarding use of the Platform, and supersede all prior understandings on the subject.
(b) Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
(c) No Waiver: No failure or delay by CarryScore in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right.
(d) Notices: Any notice to CarryScore shall be sent to the contact details specified in Clause 16.
(e) Assignment: CarryScore may assign or transfer these Terms and its rights and obligations hereunder, including to any entity to which the Platform or its business may be transferred, without requiring further consent from users. Users may not assign these Terms without CarryScore’s prior written consent.
(f) Relationship of Parties: Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, agency, joint venture or employment relationship between CarryScore and any user, brand or third party.
